LOVE OR INFATUATION

In the beginning, infatuation (or a crush) and love feel exactly the same.
We feel like our hearts are opening up for the first time and being around the person of our choice feels just like magic, like someone has cast a spell on us and that the world fades away in the presence of our beloved.
Colors are brighter, birds sing more sweetly and happiness overwhelms us. This is wonderful news when it happens.
Unfortunately, the down side is that these feelings of being inebriated on love do not last for very long. Once they fade, people are disappointed that they no longer feel the crush or infatuation to the intensity that they did before; they therefore feel they have fallen "out of love."

Actually, this is where love begins and infatuation ends.

Real love means understanding and sharing with our loved ones as deeply as possible.
Real love is the total acceptance of another human being with all their flaws, and believe me, we all have them.
Real love means letting go of all pretense, fantasy, expectations that our lover will be perfect and that we will never feel negatively and get angry at them. This is pure nonsense.
The problem that most teenagers have is that once this infatuated feeling dies, they don't have the understanding to let the love pass into the next stage which is more like the one I just described and, while it doesn't seem as exciting anymore, it is replaced by a feeling of security and completeness which is marvelous and comforting, safe and loving.

As far as your first concern: all real love is based on mutual respect, admiration and concern with each others well-being.

Having said that, equality is the only way!

Now this doesn't mean that we all always feel equal in our feelings.
Sometimes, one person in a relationship will feel closer and the other more distant but, overall, people in close relationships should feel equally close and equally loving.
They should feel the complete safety to be wholly themselves and they should feel that, while they could probably survive life on their own, having this particular person enhances their sense of why they have been put on this planet!
Remember, nothing else matters without love.
As the Beatles have said: "Love is all you really need!"

Michael Jackson , the child star turned king of pop was pronounced dead at about 2.26pm on thursday 25th june 2009.Despite all the bad publicity & trauma that Michael Jackson has recieved, he remains a true legend in my heart and will continue to forever. My deepest sympathy and compassion goes out to his family and friends, and to those that have stood by this inspiration man. Michael Jackson created music itself and all it is today, not forgetting his tremendous talent to perform with his outstanding dance moves and his ability to wow a crowd. This is a tragic loss of the King of not only pop, but music alone - and a genius at that. He was someone that made more than just an impact on the world. RIP Michael Joseph Jackson.

HOW TO APROACH STRAYS

we're so used to seeing strays that sometimes they are invisible. However , strays have a terrible time on street. Ignoring one can be the same as condemning it to a slow painful death. Volunteer groups like SPCA and PAWS will help rescue a stray and find it a new home, but it helps if you can do some of the groundwork. Ideally you pick up stray and drive it to the nearest centre. If you are not used to dogs, and are unsure if its friendly or not, take a look at its body language. Dogs signal all their thoughts by the way they hold their tails and heads. Tails that are upright or wagging mean the dog is friendly - and if they are jumping all over you, its just because they want to play. Still tails, frozen movements and upright hackles mean the dog is afraid or about to attack.
If you are in doubt, dont go too close to a stray. Call an association near you and ask what help they can offer. Some pet rescuers can do a house-call. Some cant. If they dont have transport, ask ifthere is someone in your neighbourhood who can help you catch and transport stray. If they dont know, call up local vet for advice. In meantime, you can lure a hungry dog into staying about by giving a bowl of food: dog food if you have any, cat food , meaty table scraps or even bread and milk if you dont. Also offer a bowl of water as strays are often severely dehydrated.
Once you hand over the pet to the rescue centre, a gift to help toward vet bills and calls to find your rescued pet a new home is much appreciated. After all, these are volunteer organisations!
If you can take in the stray for a few days, you can ask pet shelters for advice on what needs to be done at local vet. Afterwards, you can try these online forums to find a new home for stray pets: www.petfinder.my , www.rescue2rehome.blogspot.com and spca.org.my

Education people, EDUCATION!! Let's pray that 2009spares more lives than the 11 million killed this year...(do not stop reading until you've reached the end)
A Letter from a Shelter Manager:

I think our society needs a huge " Wake-up" call.As a shelter manager, I am going to share a little insight with you all. ..a view from the inside if you will.
First off, all of you breeders/sellers should be madeto work in the "back" of an animal shelter for justone day.
Maybe if you saw the life drain from a few sad, lost,confused eyes, you would change your mind about breeding and selling to people you don't even know. That puppy youjust sold will most likely end up in my shelter whenit's not a cute little puppy anymore.
So how would you feel if you knew that there's about a> 90% chance that dog will never walk out of the shelter it is going to be dumped at? Purebred or not! About 50% of all of the dogs that are "owner surrenders" or "strays" that come into my shelter are purebred dogs.
The most common excuses I hear are;
"We are moving and we can't take our dog (or cat)." Really? Where are you moving to that doesn't allow pets and why did you choose that place instead of a pet friendly home?
Or they say "The dog got bigger than we thought it would". How big did you think a German Shepherd would get?
"We don't have time for her". Really? I work a 10- 12 hour day and still have time for my 6 dogs!
"She' s tearing up our yard". How about making her a part of your family?
They always tell me: "We just don't want to have to stress about finding a place for her we know she'll get adopted, she's a good dog."
Odds are your pet won't get adopted & how stressfuldo you think being in a shelter is? Well, let me tell you,your pet has 72 hours to find a new family from the momentyou drop it off. Sometimes a little longer if the shelterisn't full and your dog manages to stay completelyhealthy. If it sniffles, it dies.
Your pet will be confined to a small run/kennel in a roomwith about 25 other barking or crying animals. It will haveto relieve itself where it eats and sleeps.
It will be depressed and it will cry constantly for thefamily that abandoned it.
If your pet is lucky, I will have enough volunteers in thatday to take him/her for a walk. If I don't, your petwon't get any attention besides having a bowl of foodslid under the kennel door and the waste sprayed out of itspen with a high-powered hose.
If your dog is big, black or any of the "Bully"breeds (pit bull, rottie, mastiff, etc) it was pretty muchdead when you walked it through the front door. Those dogsjust don't get adopted.
It doesn't matter how 'sweet' or 'well behaved' they are. If your dog doesn't get adopted within its 72 hours and the shelter is full, it will be destroyed.
If the shelter isn't full and your dog is good enough,and of a desirable enough breed it may get a stay ofexecution, but not for long.
Most dogs get very kennel protective after about a week and are destroyed for showing aggression. Even the sweetest dogs will turn in this environment.
If your pet makes it over all of those hurdles chances areit will get kennel cough or an upper respiratory infectionand will be destroyed because shelters just don't havethe funds to pay for even a $100 treatment.

Here's a little euthanasia 101 for those of you thathave never witnessed a perfectly healthy, scared animalbeing "put-down".. ..
First, your pet will be taken from its kennel on a leash.They always look like they think they are going for a walk -happy, wagging their tails.
Until, they get to "The Room", every one of themfreak out and put the brakes on when we get to the door. Itmust smell like death or they can feel the sad souls thatare left in there, it's strange, but it happens withevery one of them.
Your dog or cat will be restrained, held down by 1 or 2 vettechs depending on the size and how freaked out they are.
Then a euthanasia tech or a vet will start the process.They will find a vein in the front leg and inject a lethaldose of the "pink stuff".
Hopefully your pet doesn't panic from being restrainedand jerk. I've seen the needles tear out of a leg andbeen covered with the resulting blood and been deafened bythe yelps and screams.
They all don't just "go to sleep", sometimesthey spasm for a while, gasp for air and defecate onthemselves.
When it all ends, your pet's corpse will be stackedlike firewood in a large freezer in the back with all of theother animals that were killed waiting to be picked up likegarbage.
What happens next? Cremated? Taken to the dump? Renderedinto pet food? You'll never know and it probablywon't even cross your mind. It was just an animal andyou can always buy another one, right?
I hope that those of you that have read this are bawlingyour eyes out and can't get the pictures out of yourhead I deal with everyday on the way home from work.
I hate my job, I hate that it exists & I hate that itwill always be there unless you people make some changes andrealize that the lives you are affecting go much furtherthan the pets you dump at a shelter.
Between 9 and 11 MILLION animals die every year in sheltersand only you can stop it. I do my best to save every life Ican but rescues are always full, and there are more animalscoming in everyday than there are homes.
My point to all of this: DON'T BREED OR BUY WHILESHELTER PETS DIE!
Hate me if you want to. The truth hurts and reality is whatit is.
I just hope I maybe changed one person's mind aboutbreeding their dog, taking their loving pet to a shelter, orbuying a dog.
I hope that someone will walk into my shelter and say"I saw this and it made me want to adopt." THATWOULD MAKE IT WORTH IT!

Big Blue Reveals..life sized baby blue whale..

yesterday i went to midvalley...
to see big blue...yeah the worlds biggest baby whale..
i felt a little dissapointed when i found that its not real..
well..i managed to take some picture with that so called..whale..haha
so we went for shopping...i bought some "sexy" swimsuit..haha..jk
wanna take a look at it??..lol..
well..just to tell you.. its true about that whale ''BIG BLUE''..that its the world largest animal on earth..
just that it is not brought here..so sad..
it weighs up to 200 tons heavier than 25 fully-grown Asian elephants combined!..
and it grows up to 100 feet equivalent to 2 city busses bumper to bumper..
as well as its one of the loudest creatures and can produce sounds louder than a jet engine!..
impressed??..haha

21st march 2009..i woke up at 9am..urhgg..im so sleepy..kinda drowzy...i wish it wasn't time..urgh..well back to the main topic..i was preparing to go to my aunts place as well as the mall 'midvalley'..we went there as they were leaving to johor..i was pretty much enjoying myself there..haha after that we went to the next destination...that isssssss...Midvalley!..ha! i was suppose to watch that movie..wat was that called?..urgh i forgot..nevermind!..u dun have to know that.. i missed it cause i was late..so sad..sob At around 4.15 pm i met my friends at jusco namely vivian , chin mun , kah wei and wing yuen..we went to look for prezzy for my mum as her b'day gift..at first i planned to buy her clothes..but i cant find any clothes that suits her style..den we went to choose bags..but still i cant find anything 'special'...well then i found something..guess what is it??..haha it was 'HIGH HEELS'..it was a purple high heels ....i hope she'll like it..hehe i bought her roses too..after that we wander around the mall..as we does have a definite destination..haha..before we left..we took some pics..CHECK IT OUT! LOL..
